Mold & Mildew Treatment Dallas TX
Finding mold in your air ducts is scary. You start wondering how long it's been there, what your family has been breathing, and whether it's making everyone sick. We get calls like this every week in Dallas, especially during the summer months when humidity is high and AC systems run nonstop.
The good news is that mold in your ducts is treatable. But it has to be done right. A lot of companies spray some Lysol in your vents and tell you the mold is gone. That doesn't work. Mold has roots called hyphae that grow into porous surfaces. You need to physically remove the mold colonies first, then treat the surfaces with EPA-registered antimicrobial products that kill the roots and prevent regrowth.
This service is part of our Air Duct Cleaning department. For a full overview of our methods, packages, and pricing, visit our main page:

Professional, thorough, and transparent — here's what sets our services apart.
How We Treat Mold in Your Ducts
Our mold treatment process has three phases. First, we do a full inspection with video cameras to document every area of mold growth. We take photos so you can see exactly what we're dealing with.
Second, we mechanically clean the affected ducts using rotary brushes and HEPA vacuum extraction. This physically removes the mold colonies from the duct surfaces. We contain everything in our negative-pressure system so no spores escape into your home.
Third, we fog the entire duct system with an EPA-registered antimicrobial sanitizer. This chemical mist reaches every surface inside your ducts, including areas that brushes can't physically access. It kills remaining spores, bacteria, and mildew, and leaves a protective residue that inhibits future mold growth.
Preventing Mold Regrowth
After treatment, we give you specific recommendations to prevent mold from coming back. This includes maintaining proper humidity levels (below 50%), changing air filters regularly, keeping condensate drain lines clear, and scheduling annual inspections. We also offer a mold prevention maintenance plan for Dallas homeowners who want ongoing protection.
